Bar and plate vs tube and fin — which is better?
Bar-and-plate cores are denser and more thermally efficient — they recover more heat per unit volume and are more durable in track use. Tube-and-fin cores are lighter and cheaper but less efficient. For any serious build, bar-and-plate is the correct choice.
How do I size an intercooler for my power level?
A general rule: select the next size above your target wheel horsepower. If you're building a 500 WHP car, select the 600HP core. The extra thermal mass provides headroom for back-to-back passes and ambient temperature variation.
Does this fit my car?
These are universal cores requiring custom mounting and piping. All cores include 2.5″ or 3.0″ inlet/outlet couplers. Custom end-tank welding is available on request.
