When should I choose water-to-air over air-to-air?
Water-to-air is ideal when you have limited space for intercooler piping (supercharger manifold installs), when you want thermal ballast from an ice water reservoir for drag racing, or when the core can be mounted very close to the throttle body to minimise lag.
What pump and reservoir should I use?
A Davies Craig EWP80 or Bosch 044 fuel pump repurposed as a water pump works well at flow rates of 15–25 L/min. A 2-gallon reservoir is adequate for street use; a 5-gallon reservoir with ice for drag racing.
Do the 1/2″ NPT ports accept AN fittings?
Yes. Use a 1/2″ NPT to -8AN or -10AN adapter (available in our AN Hardware & Hose section) to plumb with braided hose.
