How long should a silicone coupler be?
The standard 3-inch (76 mm) length provides enough overlap for two T-bolt clamps at 1.5 inches each side — the minimum for a secure installation. Never run a single clamp on a pressurised section.
Black vs blue — any performance difference?
No performance difference. Both are identical construction with the same temperature and pressure ratings. The colour choice is purely cosmetic.
